Innovative gaskets for axially split pumps for applications >60 bar

We are always looking to improve our products and make our pumps more efficient and easier to handle for our customers.

Together with DONIT and the University of Munich for Applied Sciences, we are working on an optimized gasket material and an optimized design of the gaskets for axially split pumps.

In the right combination, this new gasket lowers and prevents much of the secondary flow and therefore it will lower the hydrodynamic losses.

Due to the new design, also the handling for our customers is much easier and the replacement can be executed much faster.

Ruhrpumpen inaugurates its first Service Center in northwestern Argentina.

The formal opening of our new Service Center in San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina, took place last Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022. The event was attended by the mayor of the city and customers from various industries, but especially from the mining sector. The main purpose of this new Service Center is to provide quick and direct support to our customers in the lithium development and extraction industry.

With the opening of this new facility, Ruhrpumpen reaffirms its commitment to be closer to customers and become their supplier of choice.

FEATURED PROJECT

Lean MEG injection is critical for Natural Gas extraction & requires a rugged pump capable of 24/7 operation at low capacity/very high pressure (> 400 bar). The RDP Pumps design, on the photos model 150/47, focuses on durability featuring a recycled fluid flushing system to cool plunger packings whilst avoiding harmful contamination. Reliability is enhanced with maintenance free pulsation dampers on suction and discharge.

RP Recently delivered a BB2 API 610 pump, model HVN, to a major Alkylation plant located in Mexico

Ruhrpumpen deliver a HVN 12X17 (A) (BB2) 1 stage pump to an alkylation plant located in south-eastern Mexico. The equipment, which will pump hydrocarbon and hydrogen fluoride, has a flow rate of 1490 m3/h and a speed of 3545 RPM.

Our HVN pumps are heavy-duty horizontal process pumps for heavy duty process applications in refineries, oil fields, petrochemical and chemical plants. They are available in more than 30 sizes with a single stage design and in accordance to the latest API 610 standard (BB2 type).
